In 2021, the Simkins Family took ownership, focusing on bolstering local tourism, keeping the course affordable for residents, and preserving its welcoming spirit. As the only 27‑hole facility in the area, Bootleg Gap offers two state‑of‑the‑art indoor golf simulators (open November to March), a spacious clubhouse seating up to 199 guests, and will proudly host the 2025 BC Amateur Golf Championships—continuing its legacy as a destination of which Kimberley can be proud.
